Inspired by a photograph taken of a storm passing over the beautiful Thai Island of Koh Phangan, our Koh Monsoon design has been handcrafted into a petite lampshade. The blue shades are rich and luxurious, and the white clouds build a stripe around the room. Koh Monsoon is printed on thick textured Linen paper, which gives an oil painting appearance.
Hattie Lloyd has teamed up with the amazingly talented www.carbonvelvet.co.uk. These lampshades are handmade, meaning each one is unique.
We chose Carbon Velvet to work with Hattie Lloyd as they are passionate about creating lampshades of the highest standard, sourcing the best eco-friendly materials. They commission lampshades for Kings College in Cambridge and interior design projects like boutique hotels and heritage properties.
All our lampshades are made to order with a 2-week lead time to the UK and up to a 4-week lead time for international orders.
It is made by hand with care using a more traditional six-step process as I do not use the rolled edge method found in most lampshade making kits, giving a more refined finish. The products comply with BS EN 60598-1-2008, the British Standard for Luminaries.
